People maybe overlooking Robbinsville QB. Not only does he have a decent passing game he is also a run threat. He ran a 69 yd td last week for the 1st score of the game if memory serves me right. Swains defense is great and they have played already but having Adams, Calhoun and Williams then throw in a QB that can take off and run or throw. It’s hard to beat a good team twice but I believe if Robbinsville uses all their weapons instead of just depending on Adams they will win by 14. Just my opinion

I would think if it is raining neither team will pass but 2 or 3 times to catch the other off guard.

I have two minds of this game. I kind of want Swain to win as I like a good rebound/gotcha back game and it would give MA/ER home field for western final.

I would like to see MA/ER vs. Robbinsville game to cap off the season. Preferably MA and Robbinsville. I am very interested in how they match up. I would only give it a 30 to 40% chance of happening though. Too much of a gauntlet to run through for it to be more than that.

Some awesome football for sure and why we all are talking about the Western games Tarbaro is setting quietly and will be more than ready for whoever comes out of the West.

Not so fast! We probably have to deal with West Columbus in a couple weeks. They beat Whiteville a few weeks ago and Whiteville just knocked off the defending 2A champions last week.

West Columbus lost to 6-5 St. Paul!
S.P would be ranked outside the top 15 in 1a.

Hopefully, they will give you a game. Don't know if you have watched Swain any this year, but they were running what appeared to be their own version of the T offense on some plays.
I seen that. I’m a firm believer on sticking to what or who got you there but you better have a few wrinkles to add to your game.

Here's a stat about this match up that might have an impact on the results.
Rville D has the most take aways in the SMC.
I think it's 25.
Maybe 18 are ints.

And Swains O probably has the most turnovers, if not they gotta be close. Hoping for a clean smash mouth game.

I think Robbinsville played last Thursday because they had Friday off for Veterans Day. Swain didn't want to play on Thursday I'm guessing since it's a long ride and people work on Friday. Just a guess.

Because Swain is stronger in the trenches and RVille has more team speed. Slowing the game down favors Swain. Just my two cents.
Fair enough, I was also wondering the thought behind that. Makes sense if that's your opinion, just wanted to know the reasoning.

I believe the only time swain “won” the line of scrimmage was on their first drive of the 2nd half.

That first drive of the 2nd half was hardly winning. It took penalties and many 3rd and 4th down conversions to get inside the ten. It took 11 minutes to go 60 yards.

2nd half stat
RV 06
Swain 00

Don't get me wrong. Swain could win in two days and I will pull for the imps 👿 but I think Rville wins again.

I agree. I’m just saying that that particular drive could be about the only “win” they had on the line of scrimmage. I wouldnt consider it a win for the reasons you just stated, but I can see where people think that would be the case. I think Robbinsville wins by a larger margin this time. I may be wrong and eat crow as well, but I’m with you on that.

I think both score more this time

Well if the rain holds off.

Before we threw the pick 6 it looked like the game was going get out of hand.

Yes it is. Even more so because Swain got the ball right back after the pick six.

How do you figure?
Swain took the whole 3rd quarter driving down the field and Robbinsville couldnt stop them, one penalty for off side and a few 4th down conversation. Swain D didn't allow a 1st down in the 2nd half far as I remember.

Both teams are pretty evenly matched but Robbinsville has the upper hand as far as coaching. That the only area that I'm concerned with is playing calling and adjustment which will be huge in this game.

Special team will play a factory as well.
