Should be a good one! East impressed tonight with offensive production but Hibriten seems to have the best defense in 2AA West.

I'll admit that Hibriten impressed tonight but this East team scored at will for the most part against a very good ND team. I thought the winner of East and ND very well could beat Shelby and I think the same holds true for Hibriten.

It’s going to be a slobber knocker and unless one of the two gets all tore up with the bright lights of being on the big stage for the first time it should be a down to the wire ball game ..
You fans are in for a treat with these two ... finally getting over the regional hump and now a chance for a title! Both fan bases should be excited

Hibriten defense is so good they shut Shelby down so I don't see the championship being any different hibriten will bring the trouphy back to Caldwell county
All i know is tjey betyer be ready for ED ,The wing -t is easy to defend!! Oh well u will see ...

Hibriten better be ready. This game is going to be a classic. Two Panthers of a different color at 15--0 each. It will be a slow week for us fans but kids will be in the clouds. Hope coach can keep kids focused. Playing in the biggest game of thier life in the largest stadium ever can be mind blowing to a young mind.
East Duplin isn't a good team, they are an exceptionally great team. Your team may be the same way. We will learn more of each other over the next week while our teams are in the lime light a bit this week.
Beating Shelby wasn’t a fluke. Beating a very good Franklin wasn’t a fluke. HHS will be ready.
And E.Duplin Head Coach Battle Holley learned that Offensive system from the best, his father legendary coach Jack Holley basically wrote the book on the WingT. Coach Battle grew up watching it, played it at Wallace Rose Hill as a QB and coached it his whole career. If anyone knows the ends and outs of WingT it’s Battle Holley.
Beating 3 western teams in a row wasn’t a fluke. Beating defending 1AA champion Wallace wasn’t a fluke. (Btw, they’re playing for the 2A SC) ED will be ready.
East Duplin has five victories over the top 20 2A teams in the state (as ranked by Simmons) Three over teams who played in championship games tonight.
I'm sure the boys will do just fine.
Have seen both play....most even game I believe I will ever see in a championship...if I was a betting man,I would say a 13-10 ballgame wouldn't surprise me...
