    South Brunswick Opening

I don't think so Handy is a very very good coach and someone I have coached against and known for more than a decade. Great guy solid coach I would see why after year 1 that WB would be unhappy with Handy

    Elephant in the room

100% true. There is some sort of recruiting/ transfers going on everywhere in the state. Every county , every city every district. There are two types of coaches. 1. Those who recruit and or get transfers. 2. Those who complain about recruiting or transfers but would be more than happy to...

    Elephant in the room

OK a lot to unpack here so as a one time WSFCS coach and employee here is how I will try and answer your questions. 1. Some transfers may be denied for several reasons. 1. The school may be capped, or full. I think that would be perhaps West Forsyth or Reagan where this could occur. 2. The...

    The "Big 32" (8A)

The fact that there will be a gazillion split conferences is a joke. Go to 6A and you might have 2 split conferences in the entire state. I have said it before and I will say it again give me a 6 pack and a hoagie from sheets and I could do a better job than this

    Glenn job is open

Well if you are talking about the old DC from EF is he even coaching???? So also Todd Shuping is a former EF coach and he is not coaching either. None of the current HC in WSFCS are looking to leave as far as I know and the two that are out in the Raleigh Area are not coming back. You might...

    Why stay?

I understand that both parties have blame but the GOP has taken public education apart in this state. They got rid of masters pay longevity tenure pay freezes. They are in the hook much more than the Dems. Their cheap and systematic attack on public education has lead to where we are today...

    Glenn job is open

Thing about Glenn is this, Glenn gets very lost in the shuffle in WSFC. You never hear anything about them good or bad. It's like people who work/coach/live in Winston are like oh yea Glenn is in Forsyth County. Also as a football coach you do have to contend with East Forsyth and there are...

    Why stay?

When I first started teaching and coaching in 1998 the teachers got a pay raise every year plus a cost of living step. The summer clinic had resumes looking for coaching/teaching jobs. Now there is none of that. Those days are long gone
