    Haha, no, I agree exactly with what you're saying. It's affected high schools in rural and metro areas, as you do not get that continuity with your teammates throughout the summer.

    Yes, absolutely -- See Bobby Dale Reynolds at Cherryville. The only issue with dead periods has to do with coaches coaching their own HS players during dead periods.

    That's the thing, in Area 4, at least the East division, there are very few non-seniors that participate. I can see this affecting some of the teams that are not as close to the Metro areas, where legion is the best summer option.

    Yes, absolutely. First, playing in the "Wadesboro Triangle (many football teams have gone and never been seen again)" gives Anson an advantage. Seriously though, if Anson is healthy, I'd go as far to say that they have the better team. Should be a good one tomorrow.
