    Completely forgot that there is a team that came down from the 2A East that will be in 1A this upcoming year. East bladen. They lost in the first round last year to Hertford county, but I feel like in 1a they will make a little bit of noise.

    Riverside in the 1a east is one to keep an eye on. They'll be the biggest challenge to Tarboro in the east. Incoming people who find that funny. As for the west, I'm gonna say Eastern Randolph. If anybody in the west can beat Mount airy next year I think it will be them. Be a tall task though

    Exactly right. A lot of these schools in the upper classifications don't want to take that risk of losing to a 1a school. Mount airy playing a team like the ones you mentioned would be great non conference matchups. Both Mount airy and Tarboro get hate on here lol it is what it is.
