Shelby takes the daunting bus ride to face the juggernaut Ironman of Cherryville. Cherryville is coming off a 35-2 loss to Big South conference member North Gaston 🙄.

Shelby is trying to get above 500 on the year. According to Max Preps Cherryville is ranked 343 in North Carolina if Shelby doesn’t get the job done things get a tad easier next week when they play the 387th ranked Gryphons from the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy.

The 20 day ADMs used for the upcoming realignment should be coming in from member schools. Has anyone seen these as they will be used to separate classifications and thus building the conferences for the 2025-2029 realignment

East Rowan Harrison Ailshie has committed to UNC to play baseball. As a Sophomore he hit .422. Also a lefty pitcher that struck out 78 in 64 innings. Congratulations to this young man. East Rowan will be in good hands with this player for 2 more years.

Hickory Ridge is 0-3 coming off a 56-7 loss to Chambers. It’s crazy how far HR has fallen off. They are somewhat Senior Heavy as well this yr. Idk what make of HR and I’m not sure what they got as every game has been a Blowout BUT Their schedule hasn’t been easy so if there a positive in here it’s they haven’t played a soft schedule

AL Brown: Back up QB played nicely - RB core is solid. ALB has do better job on assignments football and contain on edges on D. AL Brown looked good after a 49-14 win over Rival South Rowan. HR will prob be a tad tougher even with a 0-4 record. Brown can’t take em lightly. Brown does have clean up some penalties and such but overall Brown looked looked like a Well Oiled Machine
