Gonna be another tough one this week for the stallions, the patriots are a loaded football team I expect to make some noise in the playoffs this year.

Field goal in fourth quarter decided this one ... Coach Rob's Cougars move to 4-1 on season (only loss to Reidsvlle) ... it was a rainy night in Wentworth. Great TD catch by Ross and FG by Wray. Rock's starting QB didn't play due to ankle injury.

Both programs started off hot, only to be told to calm down here lately. I thought SWE would run the table after such a good effort at Tarboro, but playing two still undefeated teams back to back showed us that we aren't as good as we would like to be yet. GC is absolutely another tough test that I'm not completely confident about. Throw in a wet field with on and off rain, and who knows? If there are no updates, it means I dont have signal, which is usually the case in good ol Snow Hill.

Charlotte Catholic will take on Providence. Any thoughts with this game.

Hickory vs North Lincoln- Hickory should be favored.

Statesville vs East Lincoln both programs suffered a tough loss to start Conference play.

I am calling it right now. Foard will end their losing streak vs West Iredell.

North Iredell vs ST Stephens- could be an interesting match up.

I think its a no brainer that Lumberton has vastly improved since recent years. Cape fear will be a HUGE test for those guys.

Just updating a couple changes to the podcast I’m now covering 9 other schools in addition to Clinton. Union,Midway,Hobbton,Lakewood,Red Springs,Western Guilford,Southeast Raleigh,Marlboro County, and JF Webb all apart of our coverage this season. With the expansion I’ll be joined by 2 new co host, 1 reporter who also handles photography/video and a recurring guest coach from Robeson County. We are still apart of 810 studios network located in Clinton so all the weekly shows will be posted on their social media platforms Wednesday nights at 8pm. Looking forward to talking some high school football this season and covering all these schools hope y’all check it out.

Kings Mountain at North Gaston was moved to Thursday at 6pm. This game will feature ex-KM defensive coordinator and current North Gaston head coach Daryl Wilson making his NG debut against the Mountaineers. Coach Wilson may have this game circled on his calendar but that will not matter much, KM will make quick work of the cats.

Shelby takes the daunting bus ride to face the juggernaut Ironman of Cherryville. Cherryville is coming off a 35-2 loss to Big South conference member North Gaston 🙄.

Shelby is trying to get above 500 on the year. According to Max Preps Cherryville is ranked 343 in North Carolina if Shelby doesn’t get the job done things get a tad easier next week when they play the 387th ranked Gryphons from the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy.
