Don’t know much about Statesville other than what I saw last year. They look to have size and speed and they just dispatched an arch enemy of ours.
Our young men need to get focused. Statesville is the next team up to try an unlock the code to stopping Tater and Adam’s. Addison, Green and Edwards. (They must bring defensive backs of high quality).
Also to deal with are Carson and Tate out of the backfield. Crest scores in so many ways. Punts and kickoffs and everything in between
The Crest defense has stepped it up lately so that has helped out tremendously. I assume the hounds will try and pound us up the middle like everyone else. Our pass defense is as legitimate as one can be.

Huge 2nd rd rematch from the reg season with Robinson taking on NW Cabarrus. JM Robinson won 21-13 last go around. I could see another type of close game. Can NW Cabarrus pull this one out this time. Should be a good game with a huge crowd on hand.
MEC teams had an impressive night and went 5-0. First time in history that all 4 Wilmington schools are into the second round In the same year. Ashley won its second ever playoff game in school history beating conf champ Pine Forest. . Laney won its first home playoff game in 20 plus years. NH goes to conf champ Hillside and wins. N. Brunswick holds on to beat Person and Hoggard wins big with a Freshman starting at QB.
Hoggard will have a much tougher game against Jordan next week. I think the Vikes are on a mission. Ashley gets a first ever home playoff game after FV upsets Jack Britt and I feel they have a good shot at winning that game. I also think Laney can beat Apex Friendship. NH will have a much bigger challenge against NB and I do not see them winning. NB will host Rose which will be a very competitive game.
