Havelock @ Valhalla (Tarboro)

Since no one else is posting on this one I had to get it started. If I’m a 3a power this is deff a game that scares me. The Vikes return it all from a Very good team last year and this game is at Tarboro which is a very hard place to win at. Can anyone even remember the last time the Vikes lost at Valhalla? Going with the Vikes by 3 in this one, just because I have grown into a fan since they have become the NW1A’s favorite foe. Whats everyone’s thoughts on this one?

Robinson won 36-0.

I have to say I feel bad for the Carson players and their family’s. From the first minute of the game to the end I feel like they played to not have a running clock against them over trying to win a game. They used every single second of the play clock, and did run after run, after run to keep the clock running. I saw no plays that even resembled trying to get the ball down the field.

At least let those young men try to win instead of trying to not get a running clock.

Western Foothills 3A 9/20

Next week we will see some exciting football going on with upper tier teams battling out with 4 undefeated teams. Lower teams will have some good battles as well.

3-0 North Lincoln vs 3-0 Statesville
2-0 East Lincoln vs 3-0 Hickory
0-3 St Stephens vs 2-1 West Iredell
0-3 Foard vs 1-2 North Iredell

Going to be a fun week for this conference coming up. Big time importance for these top 4 teams
