We return to yester-year .... I hope. Last few havnt been much. Kickoff at 7 with pre-game at 6:30. I suppose Billy and Melvin will still do the broadcast. Pre game meal tonight is PIZZA with an adult beverage to warsh it down with. I'm fully stocked with Bud Light but will forgo the recalled Doritos. The pie will be thin and crispy crust loaded with mushrooms, perprroni, and black olives. My wife has a function out with her sister and some girl friends so I have the stadium to my self. It will be real, and fun, and I hope real fun for my Stallions.

This game should be better than last year, West Forsyth just played absolutely horrible with mistake after mistake. I have no idea what AC Reynolds has this year but they had a deep playoff run(12-2) and they beat Butler in those playoffs. Not sure what they lost but the Rockets should be great again and they should be the favorite.

West Forsyth has a tremendous offense with a massive O'line and a RB who ran for 1700yds. The QB has been the same the past 3 yrs, hopefully his passing has improved combined with the new coach play calling. Should be close but AC Reynolds will be favorited in a close one in Clemmons. Great Game to Attend.
Please show me some defense in 2023 West!!!!! because giving up 33 pts. per game(2022) is god awful... Gave up 102pts to East Forsyth in 2 games..

I just saw where the home bleachers were declared structurally unsafe. Will they replace the bleachers or move the stadium to the highschool? I can't imagine them moving it, but I know some folks wanted to change locations when the school opened. The only advantage I think they gain by moving is an increase in seating capacity.

Well, the David Hayes era is off to a good start (sort of).....

PG was beating ED 31-0 when I left with six minutes to go. The Patriots broke off two nice long TD runs. PG RB (#6) had a great game on both sides of the ball.

The story of this game, however, might have been the Patriot kicker. This guy is too good to be on JV. WAY too good to be on JV. In addition to numerous touchbacks, he kicked a 50 yarder that had a little room to spare. PG definitely won't have to worry about the kicking game for the next few years.

Unfortunately, an ED player suffered a serious injury in the second half. Please pray for this guy and his family.

Waddaya think guys? Honestly I'm not really sure what everyone has coming back yet.

ND is looking to get back to consistent winning after a season of multiple heartbreaking and frustrating losses. Need to finish and not just play in the first half. Two different teams last year in multiple games... defense needs a big upgrade after the last few years. Jmo. Rumor is the fans are sick of the drama on the sidelines. And off for that matter...

OG has a new coach but I don't expect any big changes philosophically. OG JVs have dominated the last few seasons and I expect them to continue the consistency. Need to make a deep playoff run to legitimize the program state-wise not just regionally.

Ledford has a great coaching staff and will be in the hunt again. They need a win against OG badly as they've never beaten them except sophomores and juniors so i don't count that lol. Always fundamentally sound but not athletic enough for a deep run in playoffs.

Central is a big question. Will they change style with the new coach? Central has never been a good program without the doublewing offense. Note I said program. Not one or two years.

Montgomery Central has been frustrated on the varsity level but their JVs last year showed help may be on the way. I expect they'll be a bit better this year but not conference contenders. It'd be cool if I'm wrong though.

Aboro... meh. Same song different verse. Athletes everywhere and no discipline or fundamental coaching. The 3A version of Lexington. Who should also be 3A by numbers BTW...
