Looks like 0-4 to start. Beat Garinger and then it gets very interesting. Providence is must win! Should get by East and Rocky River. Catholic and Indy will be tough and most likely determine if they have a winning or losing record.
Could be a blow out or close game....but could also be a 2 score game as well. What we do know for sure is that the team with the most points at the end of the game will win.
I think KM could be a more of a matchup problem for us than Crest. Our strength is running the ball this year and your front is very difficult to run against. This could be a very low scoring game.
I swear to god this game happens 3 times a year. The first game of the year is always crest and Shelby and then later on in September they play again and then in the 2nd round of the playoffs it somehow happens and they’re not even in the same damn division. And there are 8 generations of the same last names that have lived in Cleveland county since 1903 so you’re always hearing the same last names on both team whether the game is in 1973 or 2023.

Just posted earlier on Loris vs South Columbus thread and commented on that conference appearing to be a fun conference. Now I see Marlboro in that bunch starting this season.
Forgive me….i know nothing about SC high school football….i guess SC changed some conferences around this year.
That region 5 AAA is really gonna be fun to watch with the addition of Marlboro.

Think you can throw last season's results out with the bathwater. Coach Johnson's team last year that played for a State Championship is 0-2 by a combined 104-0.
Two years ago we were about to go up 40 to nothing and then the movie script started and we lost like 60 to 58. This is why you just never know in this rivalry. Go Lions Crest sucks
