West - Reidsville game in my eyes probably isn’t the one to look at. Reidsville with Harrison back is levels better than the rest of 2A . Just don’t see this as the game for West. The Walkertown game is gonna be the one for West. I will say there’s gonna be some top teams that don’t want to see West in there parking lot come playoff time. Gonna say the same about East Surry. Gonna be a team that gets very Surprised by what they get in these teams. Very excited for more depth added to the Surry , Stokes county football scene. Hopefully Ma can get West on schedule next year when re - alignment happens and hopefully brings the county back together in conference and frees up the non conference for some better competition
West Stokes has definitely had success in football over the years. We sure can't say the same thing about South or North Stokes. Both those programs have been a disaster more often than not.

Oh NL on both sides of the ball are not exactly big hogs. Statesville had size but they got around them at least half the time and they had size on D. I said in earlier post that Statesville game was no fluke for North cause they looked like to me that they can play. More size and speed for Statesville that’s for sure. What helped North tremendously was no fumbles. They had one and they recovered it. They had 3 I think against ERutherford so that game shouldn’t have been as close. Same as the West Lincoln game.
In this one for North to have a chance they can’t have ANY. Guys fumble, any time it’s easy to do I know. Some of it is good defense punching at it at the right time and angle. North has improved on that I could tell in that last game. Death grip on that ball lol
But isn't this group of seniors included in the group that Coach Bazzle shut down 2 years ago and refused to take the #16 seed in the playoffs? Yes they are!!

Why not cancel because of the weather.

So bandys and Newton are the holdouts. But Newton in Lincolnton Newton and Lincolnton should be fine since it's on turf should be fine since it's on turf.
Lincolnton is suppose to be making an announcement Friday around noon about either playing Friday night or Monday. Makes since to wait and see how the weather will be. I think Bandys and East are playing Saturday at 2pm

I remember the time Hon Dines (aka Boxcar Willy) and his buddy Mr B soaked down their own field the night before we went over there to play the Wunders so we couldn’t run our super triple option to perfection. CHEATERS! 😠

They play their conference, and I’m sure other teams avoid them. Easy schedule or not they are an awesome team with a lot of talent. I’d put them as the favorite in 3a.
