RAIN

What sucks about that is there goes a good chunk of money on officials that didn't do anything other than show up. And they'll pay them again when they play. Not sure why schools just didn't go ahead and say Monday. The weather isn't going to be anything to play around with tonight and the next 2 days.
Half game fee if they didn’t take the field. Officials still had to be onsite 1 1/2 hours prior to kickoff. And probably drive at least an hour to game site. That’s all part of reasons games are moved that most, people don’t even consider, just complain because back in the day they played.

RAIN

Just saw they're saying a category 4 instead of a 3 now. the only good thing is once it hits land it's projected to move quickly so maybe not as much rain as a slow one but a 4 winds will do some big damage. Looks Ike to it going to make a shape left turn so they games on Saturday probably be OK unless flooding of course.
BC its moving fast it want weaken bf gets to us they said.

Whiteville vs Trask

quit cutting them eyes at me cuz y'all needed OT to beat Dixon lol
Yeah that was a big red flag for me researching this game. Whiteville more battle tested Trask opponents combined record 4-15. Trask has a really talented sophomore class this could possibly be a coming out party for them. Head says Whiteville wins heart would love to see Trask pull it out. Some good kids check out Jaiden Young #9 he is going to be a good one.

Dudley schedule

I can understand them playing Page as that is an in town rivalry. Page is 4A and should be better than they are so the fact Page football has been for a while is not Dudley's fault. They also play Hillside every season and that is a rivalry that goes back a lot of years. But there is no excuse for them to be playing teams like Atkins and HP Central. Both of them are awful and have been for years. They have no choice with their conference games. But Atkins and HP Central should be removed from the schedule and replaced with schools like East Forsyth, Grimsley, Tabor or a good Raleigh area school. Even a game against 2A power Reidsville would be a big improvement over the likes of Atkins and HP Central. Dudley just stomped on HP Central last week 62-0. Who wants to go to a snooze fest like that?
Probably the reason Winston Salem Atkins and High Point Central aren't " removed " from Dudley's schedule is because they're in the same conference.

RAIN

The rain we are receiving now is not from the hurricane Helene. It has not come a shore yet. This is nothing compared to what is coming especially the mountains and foothills. This one has me a little worried. They say it's path is the widest this century even wider than Katerina. We should prepare for power outage and flash flooding. The worst I can remember is Hurricane Hugo in September 1989 a category 5 and this they say will be a category 4. Hugo came across a 50-mile swath from Charlotte through Mount Airy — just east of where the decaying eye tracked and where the storm’s forward motion added to its punch — the wind damage was severe. I hope to never see another Hugo. https://climate.ncsu.edu/blog/2019/09/how-howling-hugo-became-the-western-piedmonts-worst-hurricane/

West Stokes

West Stokes has definitely had success in football over the years. We sure can't say the same thing about South or North Stokes. Both those programs have been a disaster more often than not.
Most of the time if north stokes gets talent they transfer before high school. Look at the starting offensive lineman for Notre Dame Sam Pendleton. He is listed from Lawsonville NC. Played at Reagan high. You can't blame him for doing it. South Stokes usually has athletes but the constant coaching changes hurts them.
