Hoping for a solid game! Our defense is really really good - especially against offenses that run heavy, for the most part.. it will depend on how we show up for sure but I like our chances in this game. All we can ask for is a good game and we will see where we land when the dust settles.

Saw them last year and they had good size but no push. Different year and they maybe different but you have to have some strength and speed against certain types of defenses like KM.

I see a 28-21 type game tbh I think both team will have a good game plan n they understand what they gotta do so I think be more of a slug fest so it could closer low score game or could be a 42-35 type game so just depends but For Statesville They must play Clean Football bc penalties have been the Achilles heel for them

They've been bad every season though. And who knows with this crazy 8A split they are giving us for future sports. Wouldn't mind giving some of those basketball charters a chance to play up if that is possible.

Not this week with what Monroe can put out on the field. They can run it back with 4-5 different guys. We may as well kick it out of bounds each kickoff if we're popping it up to the 35 every time.

Hickory by 30? The refs? Statesville ran the ball at will on Hickory. I think Hickory wins but It’s hard to beat a team twice, especially by 30 after they were up on you in the 3rd quarter of the last game.

Oh it wasn’t meant to be a knock on SS. No hate toward them at all. I just saw the photo of the helmet and remembered that it was the best looking helmet in the history of the sport.

NE is the only undefeated team in the East. That has to be respected and it don’t bother me if Goob is being a little cocky with his confidence. So far NE has backed him up. It makes for a fun week. I just thrilled West Craven has given me another week to enjoy it. Our qb had a record setting night last week and we are going to relish it a few more days. 8 passing Td’s and 1 rushing against a team that was a 13 point favorite!!

SS has a new sheriff and seems to be doing a lot better than expected. They are more than solid against the run but we were able to pass on them pretty well both times we just couldn't score the 2nd meeting. Also, our RB and yours are two different varieties entirely so that could look different against their defensive front. Whoever is at RB for you will have more twitch and breakaway speed than we had at that position especially if you all have "Milky" back. I believe for this week, if you get the ball into the hands of your play makers, you'll simply be able to "out-athlete" them on enough plays to win.
