East Duplin @ West Craven

It's cool, because I feel the same way about your Eagles. You're over hyping them as usual. It kind of reminds me of a book that I read in elementary school, "The Boy That Cried Wolf!" Maybe you read it before? Cause I could have sworn you, just a couple of seasons ago, went to the Wallace vs Kinston game. And you were saying oh how you wish that y'all would get Wallace, how Wallace wasn't good enough. And Wallace went to Elizabeth City and hurt your little feelings. So you can say what you want about Northeastern, until they line up against a power run team, that's physical, I'm going to believe that you're crying wolf.
Understand completely. What power run team would we run up against in the east that’s more physical than our defense? It’s definitely not JK. You do have a good memory, Haha I did say that but I was actually trying to aggravate John and them at the time. Wrh does have some good backs this season that would give most teams fit. That Jr rb is 🔥. Wildcats

Smoky at Pisgah

Maybe Memorial Stadium should have been packed, but I will be generous and say about 40% of the seats were occupied. Football in Haywood County is not as big of a deal to the communities as it once was. There is always the big game, but outside of that there are a lot more empty seats than there use to be. Congrats to Smoky. Dominated the line of scrimmage. Impressive results the last 3 weeks. Beat West by 19, Franklin by 21, and basically Pisgah by 20 as Pisgah scored with 26 seconds left against a soft defense Smoky was playing. Will be interesting to see if they can run the ball on Erwin.
I think one of the reason for the smaller crowd was because of the shutdown of the mill. Going from 30-40 bucks an hour to 20 makes a difference.
Erwin will win by 20.

Independence at Hough and Mallard Creek and Watauga are tough Second Round matchups for sure

computers have MC a 3- 4 td favorite, david / GOLIATH (massey)
no doubt the biggest spread week 2 in 4a
its like a mount airy spread
MC 4a 9 wat 4a 18
MC played a top 10 schedule
Wat played the #90 rated schedule in 4a
(per simmons)
ofcourse wasnt it the same last year
If the same team shows up that played at Hough (i saw that live)
then MC will travel home highly embarassed but if the team shows up
that put up these lofty rating numbers then all shud be fine and creek
wins by 3 scores like they are supposed to.

East Duplin @ West Craven

JK was fortunate to even get on the scoreboard. I wasn’t expecting them to be that bad tbh. At that time they were the #1 rpi team in east. I think their newfound placement in seeding is about right. Ok @JKTigers0713champs don’t get upset at me because I really believe what I just posted. I’m just not feeling JK like everyone else. Tigers can prove me wrong and if they do I’ll give them respect. Even better I’ll give them their due if they make it to play in Elizabeth City. Yes we’re gonna be right here, even if we have that wtf game this postseason. Go Eagles 🦅 - Dogs gonna roll - have no clue in regards to ED/WC, If they both play well it’s anyone’s game. JK by 35 plus, Kinston wins big on the road.

2nd Round Games- West

Should be the closest game Reidsville has played in a while.

West Stokes and Walkertown both played Reidsville really close . West Stokes scored first TD in third quarter and led 34-28 before Rams outscored them 29-7 the rest of the way for a 57-41 win.
At Walkertown, Wolfpack led 20-14 at half before Rams outscored them 27-6 in the second half for a 41-26 final.
Seems Reidsville makes good defensive adjustments at halftime in many of their games.
Those were games 8 and 9 of regular season.

Brackets Have Up-Dated for 11/29/24 Day after Thanksgiving

While anything is possible, I only see 4 possible upsets (based on seedings):

Starmount over South Stanley, if anyone would call this an upset.
Mitchell over Corvian, maybe not probable but possible plus a little.
Robbinsville over Bessemer, I would give it even odds.
East Wilkes over North Rowan, again I would give even odds.
Agree with this except the Corvian game may not be close. Will know more about them after this game
